The Free Senior High School Policy which is expected to begin in September this year will see sections of Students making decisions pertaining to their choice of going to the boarding house or remain as day students.
EducationGhana‘s sources can disclose that the decision to go to the boarding house or become day students will be based on merit.
The decision is left solely in the hands of the headteachers in the various Schools.
Headteachers will consider the proximity of the school to the location of the students.
Students are expected to print their placement forms and make sure it is endorsed by their JHS headteachers.
Students are expected to proceed to the Senior High School for your prospectus and also to know your status, whether you would be considered for day or boarding.
