Education is currently taking a new pace in Ghana as most Schools are striving to make Teacher Motivation a priority,a possible determinant of Job Satisfaction.
Awutu-Kwaman Catholic Basic School in the Awutu – Senya West District of the Central Region , on Wednesday held its Maiden Edition of a Speech and Price Giving Day Celebrtion as well as A send off Party for its Former Headmaster Mr Joseph Assifuah, a man who was described as the longest serving Staff with 32 Years of his service in the School.
The Event was witnessed by the District Director of Education of the Awutu Senya West Education office,Mrs Anna Belinda Baidoo and the other dignitaries.
During the Event, deserving teachers in the School were rewarded for their effort in Promoting quality Acacdemic and discipline in the School.
Mr. Nii Armah Nelson,a final year Student of the Valley View University ,was awarded the over all Best Teacher for the 2014/2015 Academic year.
In an Interview with EducationGhana.net ,he said that the Award is a motivating factor for hard work in the futire and dedicated the Award to his colleagues describing them as deserving teachers.
