The Ghana Education Service (GES) has begun work on the verification of the management unit numbers that led to the suspension of salaries of some teachers for November 2017.
In a statement signed by Mr. Ahenakwa-Quarshie from the Headquarters of the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) and copied to EducationGhana.net, the affected teachers who have submitted the correct management unit numbers will have their salaries released together with the December 2017 salaries.

The statement further elaborated that Teachers who are yet to submit their data should do so before the end of this week or they will have to blame themselves.
Newly Trained Teachers Salaries
With regards to Newly Trained Teachers ,data on newly trained teachers who have accepted their postings should be sent to Accra immediately to enable the IPPD Unit capture them onto the system.
This according to the statement will pave the way for them to do biometric registration which will enable them to be paid salaries.
