The ongoing deaths of Students at the Kumasi Academy Senior High School is likely to be caused by Ebola, the Ashanti Regional Minister, Simon Osei Mensah has said.
According to a report by mynewsgh.com ,the Minister, Speaking on Nhyira FM, a Kumasi based FM station on Tuesday morning, was optimistic the cause of the mysterious deaths of the students could be Ebola related.
Though the health Minister could not ascertain the source of his optimism, he believed the cause of the deaths could not be malaria as exaggerated by many.
Health professionals are still conducting series of investigations into the shocking deaths at the institution that celebrated its 60th Anniversary at the weekend.

According to reports, as at Tuesday, December 5,2017., At least, three students had been reported to have died within one week, bringing to seven, the number of student deaths this year alone a situation causing alarm to parents whose wards are in the school.
On Tuesday,the health Minister held a meeting with Directors of the Ghana Education Service (GES) and the Ghana Health Service (GHS) over the Mysterious deaths.
Meanwhile, the Municipal Chief Executive of Asokore Mampong, Alhaji Alidu Seidu, has said the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research will present a report on the cause of deaths tomorrow, Wednesday December 6, 2017.
