The rate at which matrons and heads some heads of Public Senior High Schools are misusing School funds is quite alarming.
Recently, four suspects of the above mentioned School are currently in the hands of the Bekwai Police.
They include two Matrons, Store Keeper and Security man at the Denyaseman Senior High School in the Bekwai Municipality of the Ashanti Region are in the grips of the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) following 11 crates of eggs stole by a Kitchen staff Osei Anthony.
The suspect Osei Anthony was caught when he attempted to smuggle eleven (11) crates of eggs from the school.
Information gathered by Abusua FM’s Osei Kwadwo indicates that the incident occurred Monday, December 18, 2017 around 8:00 pm when the students were in their various dormitories. The suspect, according to reports threw the eggs on the floor when the alarm was raised.
According to source, the school Matron Theresah Akoto Essel told the police that the Kitchen staff Osei Anthony didn’t steal the eggs but rather was to lend the eggs to someone in town to prevent them from being spoil since the school will soon vacate. The four (4) suspects are currently in the hands of Bekwai Police Criminal Department and the BNI assisting the police in an investigation.
