The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has begun the 2018 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for all Registered year Students in the Senior High Schools across the West African Countries.
The Examination started from Tuesday, April 3,2018 and is expected to end in June, 2018.

In Ghana, a total of 316,980 candidates have been registered to take part in the exams.
The West African Senior School Certificate Examination is conducted for Final year Students in the Senior High Schools in the Country to qualify them into the Tirtary institutions in the Country.

Ghana has been able to produce the top Candidates for five Consecutive years in the WASSCE rankings.
