The youth of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana known as Young People’s Guild YPG , Klo-Agogo last week Wednesday organized an orientation program , termed an empowerment talk for the 2018 BECE candidate.
The event which was in its fifth edition took place at the Apostolic Church Auditorium.
The orientation program include Candidates from some selected circuits in the Yilo Krobo Municipality.
Examiners we’re invited to guide the candidates on all subject areas regarding the BECE.
Candidates were taken through some common and avoidable mistakes they commit in answering question and how to avoid those mistakes,how to choose question and go about it,What is expected of them (candidates) by examiners,what is demanded of them in a particular subjects and General guidance and counseling to the examination.
WAEC officials were also invited to speak to the candidates on rules and regulations governing their examination and how they penalise candidates on breaking any ruleS.
Some 451 candidates from 4 circuits benefited from the event.
The event was witnessed by some notable persons including Mr. Augustine Adusei, The Municipal Director of Education, Yilo Krobo Municipality,Hon. Andrews Soda, former Municipal Chief Executive, Yilo Krobo Municipality,Hon. Harold Kofi Kumah, Assemblyman, Klo- Agogo Electoral Area.

Others include various Circuit Supervisors, WAEC official dignitaries from Regional Education Office, Municipal Education office. Chiefs and other Opinion leaders.
At the end of the ceremony, the organizers donated pens and 30 cm long ruler to each candidates which shall be used to write the forthcoming examination.
