The 50th Congregation of the University of Cape Coast which took place over the week for the graduands of the College of Distance Education (CoDE) saw agitations from the graduands over what they described as an Unfair treatment by the authorities.
According to the graduands, the University authorities, after charging them for GH¢350 as Graduation Fees never gave them the needed souvenirs for the ceremony.

The graduands complained of the inability of the University Authorities to them Medals, Files and other necessary souvenirs meant for the ceremony.
Meanwhile, the University authorities said the inability of all graduates receiving their souvenirs was due to the inability of the suppliers to provide the needed quantify foe the ceremony.

The graduands could not believe how a University, described by many as the University of Competitive Choice, could exhibit what they described as poor Management.
The University Authorities are yet to provide the said souvenirs to the students who have already graduated from the University.
