The students who held placards to register their grievances, alleged school authorities have done little to ensure their welfare.
According to them, all efforts to get authorities to address their concerns fell on deaf ears.
They allege following the authorities’ inability to fix the school’s electrical wiring, the facility nearly got burnt on Sunday night.
They also allege that some of the students have to sometimes fix the cables by combining positive and negative wires before they get access to electricity.

Worse of all, they do not understand why the school authorities should bill them 60 cedis each as hostel fee when they are boarders.
They have blamed the headmaster for spending 1,400.00 on coconut seedlings which they say he claims belong to the school when he has made no effort to get them their basic needs.
An internal examination that was scheduled to take place was canceled due to the demonstration.
