The four were each granted bail in the sum of 10 thousand cedis with two sureties.
They have been charged with conspiracy, assault and unlawful entry.

The accused persons were arrested last Tuesday on the premises of TV3 when they stormed there to attack some other purported executives of the Union.

The accused persons went to the premises of TV3 after they had received information that one Julian Mawuse Cobbina had presented himself as the President of NUGS and was to be interviewed live by the television station.

Abubakar and his accomplices warned the producer of the show not to go ahead with the programme with Cobbina because he is the duly elected President of the Union.

Shortly afterwards, Cobbina and his team arrived at TV3 but were prevented by Abubakar and his accomplices from entering the premises.

This generated into hot exchanges and Cobbina was assaulted in the process.
It took the intervention of the police and military personnel to bring the situation under control.
The case has been adjourned to the 26th of this month.
