Methodist Schools in the Greater Accra region conducted a mock competition for Form 3 Junior High School pupils before the completion of the 2017 Basic Education Certificate Examination.
The award ceremony came off on Tuesday ,July 11,2017 at the Rev. Thomas Clegg at Kaneshie in Accra.
Ayikuma Methodist Basic located in the Shai Osudoku District of the Greater Accra Region, shocked many to take home two awards on the day as there was much anticipation for the ‘City based schools’ to take home all categories of the awards.
Georgina Adams won the third best mathematics pupil while the school also won the 4th position in the whole greater Accra made up of 58 Methodist Schools.
Speaking to EducationGhana ,teachers in the school believed strongly that it was the readiness of the pupils to sturdy, and the continues support from their teachers that helped them get that far .
Meanwhile the teachers are also optimistic they will make greater impact in subsequent editions.
