The Ghana Education Service has ordered all heads of Educational Institutions under its jurisdiction to as a matter of urgency, submit the Attendance Registers of both teaching and non-teaching staff to their respective Regional,Municipal, Metropolitan and District Education offices.
According to a letter signed by Raymond MNK Abatanie,The Deputy Director for Planning and Projects on behalf of the Upper East Regional Director of Education,dated July 13,2017.,it has stated emphatically, that as a matter of urgency,all Attendance Registers of both teaching and Non-teaching Staff of public basic Schools and Municipal/District Education Offices ,covering the 2011/2012 academic year to the 2016/17 academic year should be submitted to the Regional Director of Education.
The letter further outlined Tuesday, July 25,2017 as the deadline for submission of the document to the Regional Director of Education.
The letter also reminded the public second cycle institutions to comply with the same directive to meet the deadline as enshrined in the letter.
