The notion that Technical Schools at the Pre-Tertiary and Tertiary levels was meant for Students who couldn’t make the best grades during their external examinations in their previous Educational Levels has been scrutinized and well presented by a Lecturer at the Koforidua Technical University Dr. Prince Adjei .
According to the Lecturer, Technical and vocational Education were not meant for students who has failed their exams but those who are Academically Excellent.

According to him, majority of Ghanaians habe a perception that only poor students attend Technical and Vocational Schools which is never true because climbing up the educational ladder to become engineer, contractor, draftsman, graphic designer, electrician etc needs brilliant and hardworking students.
Technical and Vocational Education are the backbones of Evey country economy but any country which neglect the above mentioned institutions, are likely to experience poor economy , he said.

He emphasized on the need for Ghanaians to embrace Technical and Vocational Education, citing their essence in the survival of the Country.
