The Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) will no longer operate its Home Ownership Scheme popular known as the GNAT Home Ownership Scheme (GHOS) EducationGhana.net can confirm.
The Scheme started about three years ago. with only 230 teachers having interest in the scheme and had registered for the facility.
The Union has encouraged its members to take advantage of the Habitat Loan Facility.
The Union has also expanded its Cancer Fund to other Health Facilities which intended to benefit members.
Meanwhile,Prof. Duodu and other consultants from the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital have been assigned to design a Health Fund Package for all GNAT members.
The Consultants are expected to present their proposals for discussion at a council meeting for onward ratification by conference.
