Bissa Development Association delivers 256 dual desks to Kulungungu Basic Schools
The Bissa Development Association (BDA) has constructed and handed over 256 dual desks to the Kulungungu Basic Schools in the Upper East Region at a cost of GHC 25,600.
Speaking to GBC’s Radio Ghana, the Chairman of the Education Sub-Committee of the Association, Azumah Sumaila said the gesture is to boost teaching and learning, as well as provide a conducive atmosphere to ensure that pupils and students stay in class.
Mr. Sumaila also commended the people of the region, especially, the people of Bawku and its environs for embracing peace as Ghana goes to the polls.
He said peace is a vehicle needed for national development.
